Dr. Kanchan Nayak is a highly skilled Ophthalmologist specializing in cataract surgery, refractive surgeries, and glaucoma management. Dr. Kanchan completed an MBBS degree with first-class from A.J. Shetty Institute of Medical Sciences, Mangalore, followed by an MS in Ophthalmology from J.N. Medical College, Belgaum.

With a long-term fellowship in cataract surgery and refractive surgery and a short-term fellowship in glaucoma management, Dr. Kanchan has acquired comprehensive expertise in various sub-specialities.

Throughout Dr. Kanchan’s career, active participation in conferences and paper presentation has been instrumental in staying abreast of the latest advancements in the field.

Dr. Kanchan’s professional journey includes serving as a consultant Ophthalmologist at reputable hospitals and centers in Mumbai, such as Peoples Mobile Hospital, Worli, Sarvoday Kendra Eye Care Center, Dongri and Shree Gwalia Tank Sankeshwara Prashwanath Jain Medical Center, Shanta Medical Trust among others.

Dr. Kanchan has performed numerous successful surgeries independently, including 3000+ cataract surgeries and 1500+ SICS, &LASIK , PRK, ICL and has gained expertise in managing various eye conditions, such as Glaucoma, pterygium, corneal cases, keratoconus, and dry eyes.

With a broad skill set that encompasses different types of cataract surgeries, including topical phacoemulsification and SICS, LASIK,PRK ICL, Dr. Kanchan is experienced in handling complex cases and is well-versed in the medical management of corneal cases, Keratoconus, Dry eyes and Glaucoma.
